Recognition Assignment
Recognition items are awarded to the individual fundraiser or donor whose name is associated with the funds raised or donated.
Donations credited to a fundraiser’s total qualify that fundraiser toward a Giving Recognition Level. Individuals who make direct donations without attaching the gift to a fundraiser will receive recognition based on their own donation total.
Recognition items are awarded once per qualifying individual and are not duplicated for the same funds.
Recognition Details & FAQs
How Giving Recognition Works
Giving Recognition is based on the total amount of donations or funds raised by the end of event day and is assigned once per set of funds.
-
Donations credited to a fundraiser’s page count toward that fundraiser’s total, and the fundraiser receives the recognition item.
-
Direct donations not connected to a fundraiser qualify the donor for recognition based on their own donation total.
-
To ensure fairness, recognition is awarded only once per donation — both the donor and the fundraiser do not receive recognition for the same funds.
-
Recognition items are awarded once per qualifying individual and are not duplicated.
Recognition items are available for pickup at packet pickup on Friday or on event day, while supplies last. Items are not mailed.
Frequently Asked Questions
If I donate to support a specific fundraiser, who receives the recognition item?
If your donation is credited to a fundraiser’s page, the fundraiser will receive recognition based on their cumulative total.
If I make a direct donation (not tied to a fundraiser), am I eligible for recognition?
Yes. Direct donors are eligible for Giving Recognition based on their own donation total, as long as the donation meets a Giving Recognition Level.
Can both the donor and the fundraiser receive recognition for the same donation?
No. Recognition is awarded once per set of funds, either to the donor or to the fundraiser associated with the donation.
When and where do I pick up my recognition item?
Recognition items are available for pickup at packet pickup on Friday or on event day. Items are not mailed and are subject to availability.
